Terms of Use
Plain-English summary; full terms below.
License grant
Subject to your compliance with these terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and use Xtend on devices you own or are authorized to use, for personal or commercial software development purposes. Applications you build with the help of Xtend are yours.
Restrictions
You may not: (a) modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative versions of Xtend itself; (b) redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, or lease Xtend; (c) remove or alter copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices; (d) use Xtend for unlawful purposes or in any way that infringes Apple's developer agreements; (e) share your account with others, attempt to circumvent the subscription gate, or use Xtend to mirror systems you are not authorized to access.
Intellectual property
Xtend, including its source code, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by the developer and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of any code, projects, or applications you create using Xtend.
Your account
An Xtend account is required to use the app. Accounts are created by signing in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
Account deletion. You can permanently delete your Xtend account at any time from inside the iOS app at Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion removes your account record from our servers, evicts any paired Mac, and revokes the Sign in with Apple grant. Deleting your Xtend account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription, see "Subscription terms" below.
Subscription terms
Xtend offers a paid Premium subscription that removes the free tier's daily usage limits. The free tier is fully functional and is not restricted by network: reaching your Mac from outside your local Wi-Fi is available on both tiers.
On the free tier, the following are metered per day and reset daily: Simulator streaming time, installs to your iPhone, and maximum upload size per file. Chat with coding agents, terminal sessions and builds are not metered. Premium removes these limits. The specific allowances are configured server-side and may be adjusted over time; the current values are always shown inside the app, and reaching a limit stops only the metered activity, your session, chat and terminal continue.
- Billing: all subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Pricing and any free-trial duration are shown to you on the in-app purchase screen before you confirm.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period at the price disclosed at sign-up.
- Free trial: if a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Managing your subscription: view, change, or cancel your subscription in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS, or in App Store → your account on macOS.
- Refunds: all refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms. The developer cannot issue refunds directly.
- Account deletion vs. subscription cancellation: these are independent actions. Deleting your Xtend account does not cancel an active App Store subscription. To stop charges, you must also cancel the subscription in the App Store before the next billing date.
No obligation to support or update
Xtend is offered as-is. The developer has no obligation to provide technical support, bug fixes, patches, documentation, or ongoing maintenance. Future updates are released at the developer's discretion. The developer may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature (including subscription features) at any time; material changes affecting paid features will be communicated before they take effect, and prorated treatment will follow Apple's standard policy.
As-is & warranty disclaimer
Xtend is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The developer disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Use of Xtend is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, lost profits, build failures, downtime, or service interruption, arising from your use of Xtend, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Termination
This license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with these terms. The developer may terminate or suspend access at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, you must stop using Xtend and uninstall it from your devices. Pre-paid subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by Apple's policy.
Apple trademarks
Xtend is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. Xcode, iPhone, iPad, macOS, iOS, and other Apple product names are trademarks of Apple Inc.
Export controls
Xtend uses standard cryptographic primitives (TLS, HTTPS, DTLS-SRTP) provided by the operating system and is classified as mass-market software exempt under U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) 5D002 paragraph (a)(1) / (b)(1) (TSU exception, no key escrow, no proprietary cryptography). You may not export or re-export Xtend to any country or party prohibited by U.S. or applicable local export laws.
Beta & pre-release software
While Xtend is in early development, builds may be unstable, contain bugs, or change behavior between versions without notice. Pre-release builds are provided for evaluation only. Use at your own risk and back up any work that depends on a build's stability.
Age requirement
You must be at least 17 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use Xtend, matching its App Store age rating. The app is intended for software developers and is not directed at children.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel. Nothing in this section affects mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
Severability & entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Apple's Media Services Terms (for subscription billing), constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding Xtend, superseding any prior understanding on the same subject.
Changes to these terms
The developer may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Xtend after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be noted with a new effective date below.
